Gothenburg

Gothenburg is a harbor in Sweden, on the Kattegat, in front of the Denmark, founded in 1624.

With 450 000 inhabitants, it is the second city of the country and an industrial centre. An University was founded in 1891.

Important Museums are located there. Two defense medieval towers are remaining, Skansen Lejonet and Skansen Kronan: Lion and Crown.

The Viking, a gift from Edgar Erikson, is preserved since 1951. The Pamir put there in 1938 and 1940.
