The Spencer Gulf, in South Australia, is comprised between the Eyre and the Yorke Peninsulas.

At the end of the 19th and the beginning of the 20th centuries, a serie of grain loading points were made-up : Port Lincoln, Port Pirie, Wallaroo, Port Victoria.
